The Stephenville, TX chapter of Optimists International meets each Wednesday at Legends Country Club. Lunch is served at noon and there is usually a short program after lunch. We often honor outstanding youths in the community.

Optimists are your Neighbors

Stephenville Optimists number more than 140 members. We are involved in youth sports and scholastics. Our members are the leaders in Stephenville, TX. We are active in the community and our local government. We count city, county, and state government leaders in our number. We are business leaders and statesmen, mothers and teachers, coaches and fathers, doctors and lawyers. Optimists share the common philosophy of an optimistic future. Membership in Optimist is rewarding on personal, business, and spiritual levels.

Patriotism, Civic Duty, and Youth Recognition

While we often concentrate on developing and aiding the youth in our community, we also promote patriotism, an interest in civic affairs, good government, and optimism as a philosophy of life. Respect for the law and an understanding of patriotism and good government are paramount to the success of our country and our community. We concentrate on youth because they are the citizens of our optimistic future. We concentrate on service to others because we believe it will advance the well-being of our neighbors and our community.
